Collaboratively and independently design and implement websites on a Joomla! content management system. Functionality may include online retail, interactive forms and calendars, slideshows, audio and video streaming. Backup, SEO capability and security are built into the framwork of the site. Training documentation and sessions are included in each project to allow customers the ability to maintain their own websites.
Contracted as primary IT Analyst for Hewlett-Packard and Agilent Technologies. Primary responsibilities included project management of timelines, personnel work schedules, project tasks and full development life cycle activities. Under minimal direction, formulated and defined the scope and objectives of building new interfaces and the modification of existing feeds to meet user needs, business processes, and industry requirements. Coordinated and participated in proposals, JAD sessions, feasibility studies, implementations and new business development. Extensive technical documentation was required.
Performed workflow design and configuration to drastically reduce our client's administrative costs and procedures, improving customer efficiency through introduction of ecommerce, technical support and documentation procedures. Led a cross-functional technology team consisting of analysts, engineers, system administrators, and quality assurance personnel. Designed and directed requirements gathering and orchestrated professional service organization's process development program to link design with custom code engineering.
Instructed internal personnel, clients and contracted consultants KPMG, Accenture and FCG on the core software of ChannelPoint's primary product. Authored training curriculum and directed technical training programs for user groups nationwide. Developed a configuration certification program for personnel selected to design and implement custom workflow systems. Authored the User Training guide and the Systems Administration Guide, used as the basis for current versions.
Taught MS Office suite software applications to first and second year college students. Developed personal teaching curriculum to apply to the classroom and outside learning arenas. Authored all workshop, test and lab documentation.
